Types of Spiritual Experience

While in other files I may seem to regard the spiritual experience as some sort of incredibly abstract, lonely vision only achieved during some sort of altered state of consciousness, this is more for the purpose of isolating and analysing what their nature might be, than to define the sorts of circumstances under which they are had.

I would have to say that, thinking about it, since these are the times that my spirit is mostly readily apparent to others, that many of my conversations with other people are of this nature. This type is a bit refractive, often touching only a small part of our spirits, although this depends on the individual, the subject of conversation, and our moods. (Me - moody? Never!)

These can range from brief glimmers, as when we realise that we both know exactly what the other is thinking for just a moment, to an ongoing, floating, sensing of oneness while still knowing our separate selves. Since neither of these experiences is rationally possible, surely some other medium is being participated in to afford this contact. Yes, surely.

The act of creativity can at times enjoin a real sense of otherworldliness. Again, someties it is but a momentary flash, and at others the feeling just keeps flowing, which can be quite disruptive if the work at hand requires a more "reality" based mindset!

Sometimes just working on some routine task will let my mind wander, and the next thing you know the task is done, and who knows where I have been?

I'm sure if we asked ten people, we could get thirty more examples like these.
