Never, ever look down

Life seems like a steady climb
Some obstacles along the way
Until you break yourself on some drug
Or hang yourself up on that man

But from there it all feels downhill
You'll never recapture that sense you once had
That everything worked if you worked really hard
That your life could have had a plan

But don't ever give up
Don't let go of your hopes
You can recover those dreams you had
If you grab a hold of these ropes

Just don't use them to hang yourself
They're better to pull things around
Crawl out of this hole you find yourself in -
And never, ever look down
