We dream alone

Dreams are a different place. You can do differnt things...

Flying.

I remember when I first "tried" this, I travelled at a high rate of speed barely of the ground and crashed after a hundred feet or so. This was very interesting since I had never travelled in a manner unavailable to the waking body like this before, except the abrupt or weird transitions from one environment to another that sometimes occur. Over time, several years, I reached a stage where I could fly upwards rather than sideways, but not with much control. It was more like shooting up twenty or thirty or fifty feet and then floating around, maybe travelling some distance but very crudely, like zooming over the country side for a bit. I even remember, while dreaming, being concerned about crashing into trees and especially power lines! I also made the decision while dreaming to limit my "take offs" to ground based starts - just in case I was actually awake! A window or tree based take off could be very painful if I was really awake and made that discovery while plummeting to the earth. Then a few years ago I somehow gained the ability to control the height of my flight, and my position, with much greater precision. I remember once giggling uncontrollably at a party in my living room, which has a twelve foot ceiling, while plannig a manouver - I simply levitated about two feet and floated over to someone else I wanted to talk to and then set myself down, without crashing into anyone or anything. Strangely enough, no one else ever seems to fly with me in my dreams. Wanna come along?
