I'm in the middle of a sentence
But not like a paragraph

I haven't got a thesis but
Conclusions are piling up fast

I've started reading chapter three
It's a book that just won't close

This lamb belongs the middle of a line
I don't know how poetry goes

A film that says the story's fine
I've forgotten how we began

The song starting every last verse
When I try to do it I can

I was writing the middle
Of a story just like this

But somehow I forgot
The taste of your last kiss
