Let's say that right now a hundred grand a year is a very fine living (since it is). Ten million dollars is a hundred years of that. That's a lot of why "there should be no billionaires". Certainly I can see the importance of joint enterprises that are worth far more than that, but once their market value is over, say, a hundred million, no one person should still have a huge say in how they operate. Let them move along and raise funding for the next thing they want to start. This would take a huge reform of our species' capital markets, but they are a tool for us to use, not vice versa. 11/24/21 (Note that there is an absurdity in trying to figure out how to separate a business founder from their wealth if that wealth is the market value of a business they founded, ran, and still own.
